Review of 2015 Skoda Superb
Skoda, or Skoda Auto, a Czech automobile manufacturer is one of the best in the world. Laurin and Klement found this particular company in 1895 which was later sold to Skoda works in 1925. The Volkswagen Group bought this company as its fully owned subsidiary in the year of 2005. Though Skoda was placed by the Volkswagen Group as an entry brand, it had a global-sales of 1.04 million in the year of 2014 alone.
Since 2008 there are 7 models that are still in production in various countries. These 7 models would include Skoda Roomster / Praktik since 2006, Superb II since 2008, Yeti Since 2009, Citigo since 2011, Rapid since 2012, Octavia III since 2013 and Fabia III since 2014.
The All New Skoda Superb is the only model that is to be released for the year of 2015. The exterior design of this amazing car is created by Josef Kaban who has made the new design based on the lines of the Fabia but with more gusto and confidence. The vision C concept car that was shown at Geneva in 2014 seems to be the inspiration around the key design of this car. The angular headlights in the front compliment the corporate grille stunningly and make it look bold.
A very elegant sporty profile is given to the front of the car. Thanks to the overhangs in the front that were made shorter and the low nose which is similar to the VW models. The designer has also made certain that the bulky trunk is replaced with muscle shoulders that are more flared.
Review of 2015 Skoda Superb Interiors
On the insides, the car still sports the familiar dashboard that looks conventional and classy at the same time. However this time, the conventional dashboard comes with an array of very useful gadgets that could push the status of this car a notch higher.
For this Skoda Superb the company has installed an infotainment system. Depending on the specification of the car, this system can be controlled by the passengers either in the front or the back with an iPad.
The interiors also feature a lot of leg space for passengers in the front and the back and a trunk space that surpasses cars of the same cadre. It also comes with a virtual pedal where the owners can wave their foot under the rear bumper for the trunk door to open. The boot space is a lot bigger than the previous editions with 1760 liters with the seats down and 625 liter with the seats up. This new design also has made the boot look more like a hatchback in comparison to the older model that was confusion between saloon and hatchback.
The interiors of the Skoda Superb of 2015 really did not come with a lot of surprises. It however has managed to improve upon the functionality and the quality it has delivered. The design of the prototype is a marriage between convention and sobriety in all perfection.
