Bentley is subsidiary that is wholly owned by Volkswagen AG and this is a British automobile manufacturer that makes only the high end luxury cars in the market. This British car manufacturer was found in the year of 1919 by W. O. Bentley. This company was later acquired in 1931 by Rolls Royce Motors. Till 1998 Rolls-Royce Motors was the direct predecessor of Bentley motors limited after which Volkswagen AG Purchased it.
The sale included everything that referred to the Bentley brand. The Rolls-Royce grille trademark and the Spirit of Ecstasy were also part of this sale. However, Volkswagen AG did not get the rights to use the logo or the name of Rolls-Royce Company.
All Bentley automobiles are sold through franchises around the world. Every single unit of the Bentley cars is assembled in Crewe, England while Dresden, Germany is where the Continental Flying Spurs are assembled. In the year of 2015 Bentley is expected to release the Continental Spur, the Continental GT and the Bentley Mulsanne.
The Bentley Continental GT 2015 comes in four different variants. The Base 2 door coupe comes with a premium W12 engine with a 6liter capacity and 576 horsepower. The Speed 2 door coupe version comes with the same W12 6Liter engine but with 626 horsepower in total.
Then there is the V8 engine, 2 door coupes. Now these come in two variants where in the V8, 4 liter engine comes with 500 horsepower and another that comes with 521 horsepower. The V8 engines deliver 487 and 501 lbs-ft of torque while the W12 engines deliver 516 and 605 lbs-ft of torque.
All these variants of the Bentley Continental GT 2015 come with spoilers, power and heated door mirrors and dual exhaust for that masculine look. The W12 engines come with easy to open and close power trunk while the V8 variants only come with the normal key trunk.
Review of Bentley Flying Spur 2015
The Bentley Flying Spur 2015 is a metallic hunk that comes with two engine variants. There is the W12 premium engine with 616 horsepower and the V8 premium engine with the 500 horsepower. Both these variants are 4 door sedans where the W12 engine variant delivers 487 lbs-ft or torque while the V8 engine delivers 590 lbs-ft.
Both these variants come packed with the same safety feature. Some of the safety features that grabbed out attention would be traction control, brake assist and overhead airbags. It also has immobilizers with impact airbags in the front, the rear and the sides. These cars also come with knee airbags that inflate upon collision.
The interiors of the Bentley Flying Spur 2015, as always, are hand crafted with leather seats and genuine wooden console inserts. All the seats are heated with ventilation available for the font seats. The V8 engine variant can easily hold 4 people while the W12 variant can seat 5 people comfortably.
Review of Bentley Mulsanne 2015
This awesome 4 door sedan is an ultimate man-machine that drives on a powerful V8 premium engine with 505 hp, 6.8 liter capacity, and an 8 speed transmission. It delivers a torque of 752 lbs-ft at 1750 rpm. The Bentley Mulsanne 2015 can give up to 18 miles per gallon on the highway.
It packs additional safety features like panic alarm, security system, and occupant sensing airbags. The interiors are well upholstered with leather and woodwork.
