Review of Mercury Milan
Mercury was the car brand that was owned by Ford Motor Company. It was first launched back in the year 1938 by Edsel Ford that was the son of Henry Ford, the founder of Ford Motor Company. The new company by the Ford CEO was founded as they wanted to keep the complete different name for the mid-level luxury cars. The first ever car of the Mercury was launched back in the year 1939 with the name Mercury Eight. This car was completely different than the cars that were produced by both Ford and Lincoln. Back in the modern years, the manufacturer introduced a new model that is Mercury Milan.
The production of this model started back in the year 2005 and lasted till the year 2010. The Mercury Milan came under the category of a mid-size sedan vehicle. This model was only available as four-door sedan car for the people. The engine of this car was located in the front of the car with both four-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive options. The engine variations were also available in three different ones those are 2.3 liter four-cylinder, 2.5 liter four-cylinder, and 3.0 liter six-cylinder. The Mercury Milan model was also available in the different types of transmissions such as five-speed Mazda manual, six-speed Mazda manual, five-speed Mazda automatic, six-speed Aisin automatic, and six-speed Ford automatic.
Review of Mercury Mountaineer
The Mercury Mountaineer was the mid-size vehicle that was coming under the segment of SUV. The production of this model started back in the year 1996, and it lasted till 2010. This model went under three generation during the years 1996 to 2001, 2001 to 2005, and 2005 to 2010 respectively. In the first generation of this model, it was using the two engines those were 4.0 liter V6 that was producing the power of 205 BHP and 5.0 liter V8 that was producing the power of 215 BHP. This model was also available with two transmissions those were four-speed automatic and five-speed automatic.
The second generation of Mercury Mountaineer came with two engine variations those were 4.0liter V6 and 4.6 liter V8 engines. Both the variations of the second generation were using five-speed automatic transmission. This model was revealed at Los Angeles Auto Show during the year 2000. The third generation Mercury Mountaineer even went to a major facelift. This model was available with two engines variations those were 4.0 liter V6 and 4.6 liter V8. As compared to the second generation, this model also came with additional transmission those were five-speed automatic and six-speed automatic.
Review of Mercury Grand Marquis
The Mercury Grand Marquis comes under the segment of full-size rear-wheel drive vehicle. This model from the Mercury was operation since the year 1983 till 2011. During its production, this model went under four generation in the years 1983 to 1991, 1992 to 1997, 1998 to 2002, and 2003 to 2011 respectively. During the first generation, Mercury Grand Marquis was available in the body type of two-door sedan, four-door sedan, and five-door station wagon. The second generation of this model was only made available in four-door sedan option with only one engine of 4.6 liter V8. The second generation model still came with three different types of automatic transmissions.
There were also no big changes in the third generation of Mercury Grand Marquis as it was still coming in four-door sedan and only one type of engine. The main different between second generation and the third generation was two type of automatic transmissions for this model. The fourth generation of this model was also not so with big changes. It also used 4.6 liter modular V8 engine for a four-door sedan. The transmission made the changes during the year 2003 to 2005 and 2005 to 2011.
