Review of SsangYong Korando
SsangYong was founded back in the year 1954 at South Korea. It is the fourth largest South Korean automobile company. During the year 2011, about 70 percent of the shares were bought by the Indian company names Mahindra and Mahindra Limited. The SsangYong Company was originally started as two different companies. Then back in the year 1963 both the companies merged together to form one company. Since the launch of the company, they have launched many numbers of models in the different segments. The SsangYong Korando is one of the leading models that were launched for the people. The first generation of this model is nothing but Jeep CJ-7 model that began the sale as Korando in South Korea.
Later down the years it went to further facelift back in the year 1996 till 2006. During that time, the SsangYong Korando was using the body type of three-door wagon, and it came under the segment of mini SUV. It used the three different variants of engines those are 2.3 liter four-cylinder petrol engine, 3.2 liter six-cylinder petrol engine, and 2.9 liter five-cylinder diesel engine. Since the year 2006, the SsangYong Korando has gone through the third generation with the major front and rear facelift. Now this model uses the five-door wagon body type and comes under compact SUV segment. People can variation of 2.0 liter petrol and 2.0 liter diesel engine.
Review for SsangYong Chairman
The SsangYong Chairman comes under the segment of the full-size luxury car. The production of this car started back in the year 1997 as Chairman H. This car uses the front-mounted engine technology with rear-wheel-drive power terrain. There are total four different types of engines that come in different variants. Those are 2.3 liter four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 148 BHP, 2.8 liter six-cylinder petrol engine that produces 194 BHP, and 3.2 liter six-cylinder petrol engine that produces 217 BHP. Back in the year a new engine was added that is 3.6 liter six-cylinder petrol engine that produces 275 BHP. The transmission used all Chairman H models is five-speed automatic.
The SsangYong launched another model as SsangYong Chairman W to differentiate between old models. The new model comes with either front-engine and rear-wheel-drive power terrain or front-mounted and all-wheel-drive power terrain. The new SsangYong Chairman also came with new engines those are 3.2 liter six-cylinder petrol engine, 3.6 liter six-cylinder petrol engine, and 5.0 V8 petrol engine. All variants of the new model come with the seven-speed automatic transmission. Since the launch of Chairman W, the old model of Chairman H was discontinued.
Review of SsangYong Actyon
The SsangYong Actyon comes under the segment of compact SUV. This model was launched by SsangYong back in the year 2005. Since the launch, this SUV went through two generation those are 2005 till 2011 and from 2012 till date. Now you can get this model in both SUV as well pickup truck as Actyon sports. The body styles used by variants are five-door liftback and four-door pickup respectively. Both the variants are available in either 2WD or 4WD system. At the initial stages, the SsangYong Actyon model was offered with the four-speed automatic that is then replaced with the six-speed automatic transmission.
The SsangYong Actyon is also available in two different engines. The first engine is turbo diesel engine that generates the maximum power of 139 BHP. The second engine is 2.3 liter four-cylinder petrol engine that generates the maximum power of 148 BHP. Since the launch of this model, it received the facelift in the year 2010. With this model people can even get the additional equipments those are dual airbags, keyless entry, central locking system along with speed-sensitive technology, engine immobilizer, electric window, tray liner, and child safety door locks.
